The New Baby Guide for Dads

Every father-to-be can make it through their baby’s first 12 months with flying colors -- discover how.

Are you worried about how you’re going to be the best dad you can possibly be when your bundle of joy arrives?

Are you anxious about giving your partner gold-star support as you await your new arrival?

Perhaps you’ve tried asking for advice and received conflicting points of view... and now you’ve decided that you want to take control yourself.

If you want the best and most practical tips and tricks to help you navigate new fatherhood, John Nero has been there before, and has all the advice you need to guide you through this exciting journey.

According to the Contemporary Pediatrics Journal, a child who grows up with their father involved as early as infancy is less likely to develop cognitive or developmental issues as they grow older.

When fathers take an active role in childcare from the newborn days, children are fully supported and have every chance to develop to their fullest potential... right through to adulthood.

The Toddler Guide for Dads

Surviving the toddler years (age 1-4): discover bulletproof strategies every first-time dad should know.

Being a dad can be extremely challenging, especially for a first-time parent.

Kids grow incredibly fast, and you want to make sure you can keep up with all the changes and milestones of their growth.

A 16-month-old toddler is far different from a two-year-old, and keeping up with their development can sometimes be overwhelming.

But the biggest concern that plagues the minds of most newbie parents is how to stimulate their child’s development.

Toddlers don’t come with a manual, and kids grow and learn at their own pace, but the role of a parent in that process is incredibly important.

By participating and encouraging their growth, you’re doing your child a huge favor, and they’ll likely thank you for it when they’ve grown up to be successful, accomplished adults.

If you're a dad who...

●      Has no idea how to deal with their toddler

●      Wants to become more confident in their role as a parent

●      Wants their toddler to have the best childhood experience

●      Is a single parent and looking for solutions to all single-dad problems

●      Just needs some parenting 101 skills that aren’t generic

… you’ve come to the right place.

About me

Hi, I'm John Nero, I'm an author of parenting guides and books including specific new baby guides for men. I am a firm believer that knowledge is power when it comes to raising our bundles of joy.

I started my writing/publishing career in 2020 when we were all experiencing the Covid-19 global pandemic. During this time of uncertainty, it was a real reminder of how important family is to me. I am fortunate enough to have a wonderful family and privileged to be a father. I began to think about my experience becoming a father and how I had wanted to do as much research as possible to make sure I was prepared, or as prepared as you can be!

When I first found out we were going to have a baby I was over the moon with excitement, but I was also incredibly anxious. I didn’t know how to be a dad! What if I do it wrong? What if the baby doesn’t like me? So after my initial internal panic I decided to do some research to put my mind at rest, I started by reading my partners’ pregnancy books, now don’t get me wrong these were good and very informative but very focused on her. So I took to Amazon and started looking for some books for dads, I was very surprised by how few there were and a lot of the information was portrayed in a very “jokey” manner, I wasn’t looking for jokes! I wanted real advice and guidance! I’m not saying there was nothing to be found, there was some very good information but nothing that ticked the exact box I was looking for.

So following several courses in writing and publishing I decided that I wanted to write the book I was looking for “The pregnancy guide for men”. Producing this book has been a fantastic journey of research and collaboration with some very knowledgeable people, but as the book neared completion I knew there were more subjects that I wanted to write about, and so it happened and there is a lot more to come.

I want to write content that helps people, specifically when it comes to bringing up kids. It’s the most important job we get and certainly the most challenging. Any information I can pass on to make that job a little easier or less daunting makes it all worth it.
